Military Medical Training Plan (MMTP) Application Stream

The University of Toronto’s MD Program participates in an agreement with the Department of National Defense in creating a special application stream for currently serving Regular Force Members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) subsidized under the Military Medical Training Plan (MMTP). If you are a currently serving Regular Force member of the CAF and are interested in this stream, contact Ms. Tina D. Lipcsey at CFHSAttractionCell-CelluledattractionSSFC@forces.gc.ca  for details and eligibility.

Applicants applying through the MMTP must meet the same minimum admission requirements and standards as those applying through our general application stream. Detailed information on our requirements is available on the following pages:

All applications to Ontario medical schools must be submitted online through the Ontario Medical School Application System (OMSAS). The deadline to apply for consideration the 2023-2024 academic session is October 2, 2023.
