Fall 2022 UofT Medical School Open House

Join us this fall for an informative virtual open house. You will hear more about pursuing a career in medicine and the MD program at Temerty Faculty of Medicine. We have an interesting lineup of guest speakers and sessions you can learn from at this year's event. 

Guest Speakers:

Opening Keynote Speaker: Dr. Angela Punnett - a clinician educator in the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at SickKids Hospital and the University of Toronto.

Session Speaker: Dr. Eric Crawford  an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon who completed medical school, orthopaedic residency and spine surgery fellowships at the University of Toronto, in addition to participating in the Surgeon Scientist Training Program will be discussing Wellness in Medicine

Closing Keynote Speaker: Dr. Stephanie Zhou - an Addiction Medicine Physician and Department Lead in EDI & Social Accountability at Sunnybrook Hospital. She is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine where she leads the Financial Literacy Curriculum.

Attendees will also hear from Twanna Lewis, Assistant Registrar, Recruitment and Inclusive Programming about admission requirements for the MD program at Temerty Medicine .
