Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) – Fee Assistance Program
If you are considering applying to medical school, preparing to write the Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) is likely on your list of things to do. The MCAT is a standardized, multiple-choice examination designed to support the admission process for many medical schools, including U of T. However, students often do not realize the additional costs that could be associated with the MCAT. From preparatory courses, books, travel expenses and the examination fee itself, these can all add up to an unexpectedly higher budget. Fortunately, there is now financial support available to applicants.
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) offer a fee assistance program for Canadian examinees in financial need to help them prepare for and register for the (MCAT® for the 2020 and 2021 testing years). The Fee Assistance Program benefits include access to all online AAMC MCAT Official Prep products and a reduced MCAT registration fee.
